For schools, colleges and universities

Student parking permits for the term, without the line at the front office.

Students sign up from a link or a poster, enter their student ID and plate, and pay for the term online. Faculty and staff can get their own price by school email, and when a lot fills up, the waitlist moves on its own.

Permit season shouldn't mean a week of paperwork

01

Lines and forms every term

Collecting forms, plates and payments in person takes staff away from everything else at the start of a term.

02

Different people, different prices

Students, faculty and staff often pay different amounts, which turns a simple list into a pricing spreadsheet.

03

Popular lots oversell

Without a live count, more permits get sold than the lot can hold, or a waitlist lives on paper.

How it works

Set it up once, run it every term

  1. 1

    Make the permit

Start from the Students and teachers template, set the term dates, and ask for a student ID if you need one.

  2. 2

    Post the link and poster

Students scan the QR poster or open the link, sign in, and pay for the term.

  3. 3

    Fill the lot fairly

Set how many permits a lot holds. Once it's full, new sign-ups wait in line and get in as places open.

What you can run

Made for the school year

Term permits

Pay once for the term, and the permit stops on the term's last day.

School-email prices

Faculty and staff get their own price, or park free, when they sign up with a confirmed school email.

Student ID

Ask for a student ID number at sign-up, and search holders by it later.

Sign-up windows

Open and close sign-ups on set days, so permits go on sale when you're ready.

Waitlists

When a lot is full, the next person in line gets the place when one opens up and is emailed right away.

Approval your way

Review every request, approve some email domains right away, or approve everyone.

Questions

What teams ask before switching.

Straight answers based on the way getParkFlow works today.

Can students pay for the whole term at once?+

Yes. A permit can be paid once for the term and lasts through the term's last day.

Can faculty park free?+

Yes. Give faculty a special price of free by confirmed school email, or make a separate free permit for them.

Can we require a student ID?+

Yes. Turn on Ask for an ID number and students enter it when they sign up.

What if a lot sells out?+

New sign-ups join a waitlist. When a place opens, the next person gets it automatically, or a manager chooses, depending on how you set it up.
